Our company was founded as “Empresa García” for Mr. Manuel García Pico in La Coruña, three generations ago. At the beginning, the goal was giving support to the people who went to the markets in the outskirts.

In the course of time, the company grew and developed in new areas within the transportation business:  fixed routes, student transport (private & public schools), all kinds of private charter…etc.

In 1998 the first accessible bus was acquired. This purchase was due to the service given to a center for children with special needs, and it would lead us to reach a minority market of

which just a few companies were concerned about.

Thanks to the acquired experience, new accessible buses, costumers and an in-depth market research, in 2004 Autocares M.García took a quantum leap which distinguishes our company from others.  We decided to specialize our fleet in accessible and disability transport to give support to people with mobility impairment even though, that implied turning down other services which clash with it.
